​I'm a semi-retired, part-time teacher.  A self-taught, 'late starter', I began creating, exhibiting and selling my art in 2018. I love and am inspired by the landscape on my doorstep and am constantly striving to portray it in a loose, semi-abstract style. Drawn by the everchanging light, mood or atmosphere of the natural environment, I try to capture a sense of place in my paintings. 
I welcome the challenge of commissions and love liaising with my clients and delighting them with their finished painting!
