About The Programme
This programme of activities is for members of the society to meet and share experiences as artists, learn new skills and techniques, as well as making new friends!
The topics we cover in the Saturday Group generally focus on fine art which includes painting, drawing, some basic printing, and collage, for example, but we also aim to increase our overall appreciation of art in a wider sense too.
Sessions may include visiting artists demonstrating their techniques and /or talking about their approach in their work, workshops led by visiting artists or members own workshops where we all work together on a particular topic.
The programme of workshops / demonstrations occur on Saturday afternoons approx every two weeks for 9 months of the year. The outdoor days are planned one per month during June, July and Aug.
