The Portrait Swap 2026
The Portrait Swap was organised this year by Gilly Markham and 21 members took part. They were: Alison Johnson, Nina Bensley, Mary McKenzie, Britta Atkinson, Annabel Maamoun, David Whiting, Glen Williams, Fiona Colston, Keith Harris, Richard Roads, Linda Downs, Bill Best, Renee Wild, Ros Fraser-Johnson, Shirley Waddington, Tony Burke, Sue Brook, Rob Greenwood, Brendan Sharkey, Judith Bleazard and Gilly Markham.

Members were paired together, at random, and they shared photographs of each other so that the artist could work in their own time and their own style to complete the portrait at home. Some of the members met up for coffee later at the Arcade Cafe in Byram Arcade, Huddersfield to swap portraits back and look at everyone's work. |
