Saturday 19th March 2022

​On Saturday 19th March we held a mini art fair in Byram Arcade in Huddersfield Town Centre to raise money to support the Ukraine. Members donated many art works for sale and the raffle prizes, and also joined in running the stall during the day. Shops in the arcade were incredibly supportive as well and the public were also amazing - we had keen visitors even during the set up on Friday afternoon who wanted to contribute to our efforts and buy work as we were setting it out on the tables. 

Overall we raised a grand total of a new grand total of £1,446.27 sent to a charity supporting the people of the Ukraine. Members also had a lovely day working together to support a different kind of venture.
